DescriptionThis is a really fun double page splash giving us a look into the hectic life of Peter and MJ as they get ready for the day. MJ's surprise at seeing Peter in his costume hanging from the wall gives me a good chuckle every time. John Romita Jr made things even more whimsical by turning the image on its side.Really happy to add this particular piece of Spider-Man original art to my collection. Social/Sharing |

Is it just me, or do you hear sound effects from the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air theme song when anyone comments Rek-Rap?

Really nice artwork, but I still remember when this issue came out being mad that they killed Ben Reilly in the prior issue. It's funny what stays with you 27 years later.

yup...Spidey powers AND a wife who wakes up looking like a million bucks. I know he has problems like villainous foes and occasionally dying and stuff, but I just can't feel that sorry for the guy.

I don't have a witty comment here, just wanted to drop in (see what I did there) and say that I like this piece!

Rare vertical DPS on this title and it's gotta be an artist like JRJR that has the more cache than editors to do this. Great chice to have the top in all black so you wouldn't question what plane (wall/ceiling?) that Peter is sticking against.

You know Spider-Man is giving his best Joey Tribbiani, "How you doin!"

That comment is doubly funny to me because I just started re-watching the entire 'Friends' series. Something I like to do every 3-4 years. Could I ... BE ... more TV bingy?

What we can all learn from this piece is that MJ has really cold feet.

I love a good Spidey/PP and MJ page - always a great exchange! Congrats on a killer JRJr page (and thanks for taking a break on cornering the market on McG Spidey art;)

Man, this is a gorgeous page. So beautifully pencilled AND inked. I love the the position Peter is in, hovering over the bed like that, so cool. And of course, MJ, hominahominahominahomina....

"Get off the wall before..." Ha! Love how MJ's got a little of an initial shoc (get it, like the name of the story) but immediately flips to it being so normal that Pete's on the wall, getting dressed, crawling around, while talking, lol. There were definitely some fun Spidey images by JRJR from the '90s, and this is one. Congrats!
