DescriptionA great 1998 cover from a U.K. Spidey comic with pencils and inks by Lee Sullivan.I used a nice iphone pic to better show the pencils that are still present on the piece (which are very cool), and also some white-out patches, especially around Spidey's head. (Though for some reason, iphone pics never look as white as the art board looks in person). I love the Spidey vs Sandman battle scene, as well as the supporting characters Silver Sable and the Human Torch in flight! Social/Sharing |

It's a 1990s cover with the Ben Reilly version of Spider-Man, which automatically makes this an A+ cover in my book.

Fun stuff! Sandman might just be my favourite Spider-Man villain after Green Goblin and the original Hobgoblin. He has so much potential, especially in live action, as we saw in the movie. These Sullivan UK covers are always exciting, action packed and provide tremendous value compared to their American counterparts!

It's a fresh take on ASM 407 which this issue reprinted and made the clone saga a lot more appealing visuall if not storywise.Guest stars galore in this Sullivan cover cleaning showing heroes and villains facing front!

Right away noticed that nice depth, then Sandman with the booming punch! I always love that character on covers and splashes - SO much you can do! Congrats, Paul!
