DescriptionA beautifully detailed cover featuring a battle between our kind-hearted Beast and the horribly evil alternate-reality Dark Beast. In this issue, while our Hank McCoy tries to crack the secrets of the Legacy Virus, nasty Hank uses a series of ruses and biological adaptations to get close to Beast's old parish priest, his elementary school principal, his high-school sweetheart and his parents, pumping them for details of his life. Then he kills them all except for the parents. His plan is to take our Beast's place as part of a larger scheme. The of course eventually leads to a Battle Royale between the two blue and gray furred powerhouses. Ian Churchill rocks!! Social/Sharing |

You know who the evil one is because he is the one wearing pants. It is truly evil to try and cover up all that junk.
His hump his hump his hump his hump his hump
His hump his hump his hump his furry little lumps
Check it out

Whoa, those two killer Beast images right there! Love that. Shockingly, I'm not even familiar with this cover. Also nice to see something from Churchill in this era that isn't Cable!

(Lol, John C!) Beast mode activated! I love those battle poses, and the angle Churchill chose. Super dramatic. I never read this one before, but I so want to see Beast vs Beast (imagine that on the big screen? Drool.) Very nice cover. Big congrats!

Stan Lee approved! Oh my stars and garters... Nicholas Hoult Beast vs. Kelsey Grammer Beast! Ian Churchill is one of the 90's wave of super detail artists bringing big action to X titles!

About a decade ago, I was begging a previous owner to sell this cover to me. I am a huge fan of the Age of Apocalypse, specifically the Villians, so this was one of my top wanted covers that I had to own. Keep me in mind if you ever feel that you can let this one go for sale and/or trade.

Beast vs Beast! You can tell that Churchill put some TIME into this one - lotsa lotsa furry fuzzy '90s goodness :) I like the poses, and that both figures are so big on the board. Makes the image even that much more bold! Congrats!

Awesome cover from the days when <our> Hank McCoy was clearly one of the good guys. I hate what they've done with the character in recent years - while he's not as bad as the Age of Apocalypse Dark Beast, he's not the lovable genius that he once was. I miss the Hank McCoy that we see on this cover.
