DescriptionSpecial thanks to everyone who viewed and left comments on my Ramos Spider-Man #1 cover. I tell ya, the support and enthusiasm you get from the art community makes this hobby SO much more fun and gratifying.Anyway, now it's back to the '90s with this great Solo #1 cover by Ron Randall and Sam de la Rosa! Check out those cool blasts of gunfire! I really enjoyed this miniseries when it first came out in 1994. Very happy to own this cover as well as the cover to issue #2 (please see additional pic). Wait, this isn't the Harrison Ford character? My bad. In any case, great 90's cover. Not sure whatever happened to this character, but being obsessed with the color green, I of course loved the costume and was totally rooting for him. Love the Spidey symbol in the backdrop.

Another great 90's cover! Although not sure what happened to this character. I guess even a bump by Spidey wasnt enough. Oh well, still a great one!

Starting off a series strong! In the tradition of Amazing Spider-Man #1 where the established The Fantastic Four guest starred and boosted Spider-Man's solo series, Spidey passes it on to gust star in Solo's own series! The interconnected universe at work in the 90's where crossovers made every week at the comic shop an adventure!

A wonderful, dynamic and explosive layout by Randall. With a cover like this, who WOULDN'T buy a book about the origins of everyone's favourite red friend! No, not Sider-Man, silly. Solo Cups! The friend of beer pong playing college kids everywhere! I don't know who this guy on the cover is, as frankly, I'm one of those who DIDN'T buy this book, but I'm sure he must destroy a few pallets worth of those beautiful, red drinking devices!

Spidey Spotlight Cover! I cannot tell you how much I love these...wait, yea I can. I love these! They were some of the coolest, imo, and were among my very favorites. I still have this issue somewhere, just saw it recently. As the first comment said, you have the coolest stuff. Spotlight and...ACTION!

Great 90's cover, Paul! Although I'm surprised there are no captions reading "BECAUSE YOU DEMANDED IT!" or "BURSTING FROM THE PAGES OF THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN!", I guess it is yet -more- proof that Marvel was really going for a more subtle and nuanced approach in the 90's... ;) Great use of blacks in the background to focus everything right there for that wicked use of the Spidey symbol! Cool cover, Paul! Congrats!

Oh so SO '90s, and you gotta love it. His vibe, his design, the whole nine, I know you said "yes, this is MINE!" Sorry attempt for a little rhyme there. I mean as dynamic a single shot to start a series as you can get, and you also GOTTA have some more established Marvel character mention to get things going :) Congrats, Paul!
