DescriptionShe doesn't have super powers, but she has faced off against her share of villains.It's ... the AMAZING Mary Jane! And beware her wrath!! Here, on this really fun cover by Humberto Ramos, she holds her own against both the Vulture and Mysterio (as an actor playing Peter Parker/Spider-Man cowers against her leg). As you can see from the first additional pic, the published cover has some smoke effects that are not on the original art. Humberto however created a digital version of the artwork that does include those effects. I thought it was pretty cool, so I also included a pic of that version. Social/Sharing |

Boy, it's a good thing Ladies Week contains the ever loving Mary Jane Watson, because the first thing that came to mind here was "Why the hell are they portraying Peter like a simpering, gutless little worm?". Good thing I always read the descriptions! I love the look of Mysterio, by the way. Really nice!

Agency! We all need to see it, women need to feel it, and I love it. This is an awesome cover, and thank you for doing this! I especially like how Ramos draws the baddies. There's a reverence there, I think, in such detail. The crags and extra lines really make their evil pop. Nice score! Congrats!

Nice composition, and Ramos has been showing some really great attention to detail on some of his recent covers. Like that hatch-y detailing on Mysterio's helment. Stuff like that. Love seeing in art :) Congrats, Paul!

Another outstanding add to your brilliant collection, Paul - congrats! Humberto Ramos just keeps getting better and better... I mean, he’s always been great, but it really feels like lately he’s going through another “growth spurt” or something, as we all get to do the funnest part - watch a great artist grow! Neat smoke effects, but I really like the “plain” black background, which sets off the gorgeous cross-hatching on Mysterio better, as well as the fine detail on Vulture. It almost looks like a Coipel / Morales piece in places, such is the high standard of artistic excellence here... What a beauty, sir! Congrats again!
