Ladies Week continues!

I have always had a fondness for the character of Jolt (Helen Takahama).

Helen was introduced in Thunderbolts vol 1 #1 (1997) and became Jolt (donning a costume and joining the team) three issues later. I'm jazzed to own the Mark Bagley cover to that #4 issue (I included an additional pic of that cover).

I'm a huge fan of double page splashes with a HUGE image of the main character, so very excited to add this one to my collection.

Great looking DPS. Nice job on the crowd scene below. I love images that convey a sense of depth. So I really like how far back you can see into this shot. Nice pickup buddy!

Great looking piece, amigo! Every time I read her name, I feel like she needs to be fighting some one codenamed Brisk. Then they can bring in 2 more characters named Coak and Pehpsee and we can have the Cola Wars mini-series! By the way, the fact that this dps is highly reminiscent of your Superman Returns dps does not escape my attention. 😉

Wow! By issue 66, Jolt was a fixture and a big part of what made the team so appealing as she was a genuine hero caught up in the original premise of villains turned heroes.

Wow! All the sugar and twice the caffeine on this one, Paul! Great shot of Jolt here, but (just as Eric said) it's the depth of the thing (and all the detail - love the architecture) that really add to the special nature of the piece. Sweet piece! Congrats, Paul!

Yowza! What a stunning DPS! I love the size contrast between the massive image of Jolt flying across the page and the spectators down below! And I'm really fond of pages like this that are so jam-packed with detail! Great, great DPS!
