DescriptionJust got this one in the mail this afternoon, and I am so excited that I am posting it this evening.It's the cover to Grimm Fairy Tales Presents Oz #1, or "Oz #1" for short. I have always been a fan of the Wizard of Oz in all its incarnations throughout the years: the 1939 classic movie of course, the 1978 movie "The Wiz," the musical "Wicked" ... the colorful characters, the musical soundtracks, the magical landscapes ... all great & powerful stuff. So to be able to acquire an artistic interpretation created by one of my all-time favorite illustrators, complete with all the main characters, and (let's just say it) infused with JSC's flawless flair for the female physique ... well, this is a happy happy day. Forgive me. I was quite young when I saw this so perhaps just never noticed at the time but why didnt anyone tell me Margaret Hamilton had legs like this.

I stumbled across this cover about a year ago and had a "Legion Version " of it commissioned but the original art is so much better than the published piece
