DescriptionContinuing with my Spidey Team-Up theme, here is a great page from 1981 featuring the 1st meeting of Spider-Man and She-Hulk! As is usually the case, the two team-up characters have to battle each other first before coming together to solve the greater problem at hand.Love how She-Hulk breaks free from Spidey's webbing in that first panel. There is some great web-head humor on this page too, like in panels 3 and 4. And how cute is it that Spidey thinks he may have harmed She-Hulk by bringing down some measly boxes on her? Really love this whole sequence. Trimpe and Esposito made a great artistic team! Social/Sharing |

So for someone who is a HUGE Spidey fan and a HUGE She-Hulk fan, I guess this is a match made in heaven right? Must be nice to have such an epic MTU page! I think it might have been addressed to the wrong Paul :). Kidding! Huge congrats on a tremendous Team-Up! If you run out of room to store your art, this one is welcome to stay with me! Congrats!

Poor Spider-Man loves to poke the bear. I have always done things the hard way myself. As my brother said in his speech at my wedding. Never, ever, ever poke the bear. Best speech of all time.

Time stands still for Marvel Team Up artwork with big veteran names like Trimpe and Esposito working on classic Spider-Man. They knew this title brings fans new and old to Spidey through the team up guest and vice versa. Therefore, it had to be high quality Marvel house style for fans of each title. This page excites with She-Hulk vs Spidey! It is like many MTU plots where the heroes fight out of misunderstanding before they team up. This is the title where this happened a lot, so power levels and bragging rights are set for all fans!

First meet and subsequent matchup between these 2?! That alone would've been enough but this has gotta be one of the best pages from the book. Action packed! Congrats!
