This is NOT the original cover used for the 1967 published release of X-MEN #39

This IS a recreation of the cover, by the original artist, George Tuska

This features the 1st appearance of the X-Men's new costumes, including Jean Grey's popular Marvel Girl green mini skirt and gold pointed mask with booths.

George Tuska is a deceased artist. R.I.P. (1916 - 2009)
