Description11.5 by 16.5 inches. Pen and ink.Martha Washington Goes to War #2, page 23. 1994. Dark Horse Written by Frank Miller and illustrated by Dave Gibbons. Dave Gibbons won an Eisner ( best artist/penciller/ inker) in 1995 for his work on Martha Washington Goes to War. I really like the composition of this page. This resembled a lot of the 2000AD work as Miller and Gibbons brought that same kind of social commentary to the US with this Dark Horse Legends work! The center panel of the close up is the key to the emotions of how we should feel.
