Absolutely stunning Pogo Sunday strip from 1969. Drawn by Walt Kelly, a former animator for Disney, the comic is one of the most beautifully drawn and inked comic strips ever. The humor takes some getting used to, but if you make the effort, you can really enjoy the highjinks of Pogo and his fellow swamp denizens. You can see the Disney influence in the constant visual gags Kelly uses to butress to the humor. This Sunday strip is a pretty classic example of Kelly's style of humor and as well as a great example of Kelly's beautiful layouts and masterful draftsmanship.
