DescriptionNot new to my collection, but reposting some older acquisitions. This piece is pretty straightforward as covers go--simply the Hulk, looking angry. Nonetheless, it's one of my favorite pieces in my collection--love how dangerous the Hulk looks, and Leialoha's delicate linework perfectly accentuates the style of early Mignola.Social/Sharing |

I've always been a huge fan of this cover! The combination of the styles of these two great artists is a perfect match in my opinion. Congrats Jeremy!

Me too! This run led to Peter David and some really great stuff--but still fascinating to imagine Mignole doing a sustained run on a Marvel book in that era; and this would have been the perfect fit.

Loved this cover as a kid and love it even more today. One of my many comic art regrets was not grabbing this on ebay when I had the chance.

What scares me most about Mignola's muscle monster is his taut, skeletal-like face and expressions. Otherworldly indeed.
