Fred Gambino makes a return to oils to paint this story from the December, 1976 Amazing Stories Magazine. Later re-printed in Songs of Stars and Shadows.

Thanks, John! Ya, I spent a lot of time with him in Dublin in 2019 at the Worldcon. Great guy to drink with!

Absolutely amazing and the essence of why digital art will never replace the magic of a hand-painted masterpiece that will last long after those dots and dashes are magnetic dust.
