DescriptionWay back in October of 2011 Josh had a Dead@17 Finale Supporter Campaign where you could support the Final Chapter of Dead@17 by pre-purchasing art from the final issues of the comic. At the time Josh was hoping that the campaign would allow him to work on the final chapter for 5 or 6 months and then release it in Spring/Summer of 2012. Well it didn't work out as Josh had hoped and the final chapter The Blasphemy Throne was released in Winter 2014/Spring 2015. For the campaign there were 3 different tiers (Gold, Silver and Bronze) you could pledge at based on the price of the tiers. Each was limited to 10 pledges. When I saw Josh post about the campaign I immediately sent my email to get my spots. As luck would have it I was the first person to email him so I was given first pick in each tier I pledged at. I ended up purchasing 2 Gold, 1 Silver and 2 Bronze selections. There were plenty of fantastic pages to go around for the first 30 picks so I was able to get all of the pages that I was hoping to get for my picks. While I was reading issue 3 I knew that this page was going to be one of my picks for the Gold tier. This is just a beautiful moment in the series. It is first time that we see Nara after she has been resurrected by Noel. I knew if I didn't pick it up as one of my first picks I wouldn't have a chance at it later and I am so glad I did. The page is just so beautifully rendered. You can really tell Josh was taking extra care when he was drawing this page and it really shows. One of the pages that I am thrilled to have and a very major page in the resurrection sequence that I have set out to reassemble. Size 11x17. Social/Sharing |

You made some great picks for your art. This was one I had wanted but was gone before my turn came around. Once I get a chance to get a good shot of it, I'll be uploading the page I got from the Kickstarter campaign.

I was just lucky enough to have the first and second picks or I know I wouldn't have it now. I can't wait to see everyone else start posting the pages that they chose. There were so many fantastic pages in the final arc that everyone ended up with awesome pages. Josh definitely went all out in finishing the book and you can tell it was a labor of love.

When I get a chance to get mine posted, it's page 15 (I think) from the last issue, where she's jumping in the air with the axe.

I love how dynamic Josh drew that pose. You can just feel the energy and emotion that Nara is feeling. That was definitely a great choice.
