Description

Eric did an amazing job of capturing the essence of the old Earth One and Earth Two cross-over events of the 1960's. Sixteen of my favorite heroes! So thrilled with this piece. It's a whopping 15.75 x 20.5 inches and was finished in 2005.

This is incredibly great.

Any particular reasoning on the selection of the JSA and JLA chacters?

Also do I detect a subtle Sekowsky homage to certain characters like Green Arrow and J'onn j'onzz?

Thank you for the comment and I agree Mr. Wight did an incredible job with this commission. His own drawing style made the Sekowsky homage a natural. These heroes were selected because they were the 16 heroes in the first JLA/JSA crossover, Crisis on Earth One, JLA 21-22.

This is such a beautiful piece in so many ways. The characters look great and the layout is exactly how it needs to be to showcase all of them. Pure perfection!
