This is unreal. I now own an original Robert McGinnis!!
A sketch for one of his pulp paperback covers circa 1969-1970.
So overjoyed.

McGinnis is the greatest James Bond artist, painting the movie posters for Thunderball up until The Man With The Golden Gun and painted over 1200 book covers. His work is a huge influence on my work and the main inspiration for my Fake Vintage Book Covers so it's a real thrill to own this little gem!

This pose was eventually used on the cover of Milo March #25: The Tortured Path by M.E. Cchaber. Published in 1970.
