DescriptionA very joyful pick-up from the ComicLink art auction that ended last night.Web of Spider-Man 69 & 70 are two of my all-time favorite issues from the series. Not only do you get some classic Spidey vs Hulk battle action, but Spidey gets zapped by a gamma thingamabop and gets transformed into SPIDER-HULK! The zapping happens a few pages after this particular one, and I am very happy to own that page as well. Please click on the link below to check it out (I recently learned how to create hyperlinks, and my life will never be the same again): Web 69 pg 17 Spidey gets zapped Social/Sharing |

A smashing good battle page between these 2!!!! Pun intended. The half splash image is awesome but I might even like the 4 narrow vertical panels more. Congrats on the auction win / new pickup!

A ice floor? I never would have guessed that Lolita was a figure skater.

The Spidey-Hulk a precursor to Rek Rap! Great way for Saviuk to squeeze in Spidey and Hulk into the same panel!

Wow, I never thought of that! Perhaps my love of the larger than life Bizarro Rek-Rap did have its origins way back in 1990 when I was so taken with this two issue Spider-Hulk arc. And great point about Saviuk using the merged character as an artistic convenience. You always see things in such creative and insightful ways 😀

If the top half of this page had an equal number of equally shaped/sized panels as the bottom half has, it would be an incredible, top tier page. But with this classic and memorable half-splash panel? A+++++ Congrats on the win!

Classic hero vs hero faceoff! I was wondering if you were eyeing this one :) One of the best pages from a fun issue! Congrats!
