DescriptionI've wanted a great piece by Blevins for quite a while and was very happy to find this 1988 classic in San Diego this year. Always loved the great pin-ups featured in Marvel Fanfare, and the image of this one has been stuck in my brain since I was a kid (though I incorrectly remembered it coming from the all pin-up issue).Collector John Bamber has a very similar piece up in his gallery--apparently the story is that Blevins did both versions around the same time; but this one was what was ultimately chosen for publication. Blevins is soooo underrated. I look back at comics I love and remember and his work shows up all over the place. Great artist whose work I didn't fully appreciate while I was collecting.

Can't believe I haven't commented before! This is nice...great illustration but also a very dramatic piece. Love all the black. Congrats!
