Psychoblast #1 p24 (1987) Robb Phipps / Al Vey

Some great action on this page from this 80's independent first issue!� It starts off with a bang ... literally.� A huge explosion following a babe slapping our hero to rouse him and to help him activate his powers which we see happening in the final power.

Al Vey does a great job inking as he would for the Big Two for many years of his career.

Page is in overall excellent condition showing normal wear for its age and handling.� Artboard is off-white in color.� Blue pencil and white-out were used as part of the creative process.� Sound effect in the first panel is an impressive paste-on.� Last word panel in the third panel is a paste-on and there is also a small paste-on covering the placement of the original word balloon lower in the panel.
