Agreed! John certainly has a way with mass, light, and depth cues (not to mention his terrific compositions).

Really beautiful. It is amazing how much of the impact of the final painting Harris is able to capture in such a small prelim.

Agreed! It appears VERY close to the final. His pastel prelims are nice too ; )
