Never seen this Lehr art before! This cover art by Paul Lehr is for the French publishing of the E.C Tubb book "les Maitres du hasard", 1975.

I'm a sucker for Lehr and flying saucers... so this was an easy purchasing decision ;)

Beautifully otherworldly, yet with a human desire to socialize (colonize?) transported to this new landscape.

Science Fantasy at its best showing a brave new world out of imagination where we can achieve the most out of being human. This transports humainty to place where they can rejoice and create a utopia. This was a way to reimagine life away from all the turmoil of society happening outside the author's window.
