Description

My first purchase of 2010 is this awesomely detailed Punisher cover by Elman Brown. I love the skull reflecting in the water. Punisher in Navy SEAL stealth mode kicks ass too. I was first exposed to Elman Brown's amazingly detailed art in Eclipse Comics four issue black-and-white mini-series I AM LEGEND which was based on the classic book by Richard Matheson and adapted into comic form by my pal Steve Niles. Steve discovered Elman doodling in a coffee shop and brought him on as the artist of I Am Legend. I'm surprised Elman didn't do more work in comics, he's great. Great looking Punisher cover! Elman really should have done more work in comics!
