While all the other beloved characters from Gaiman's SANDMAN are no less fascinating and are sometimes more likeable, Dream remains the most multi-faceted. As with our own lives, his existence is not simple or easy to explain. Instead, his is a rich tapestry that often deals with dualities in life and being. Hubris and humility; selfishness and selflessness; wrong choices and the resolve to right them; loves gained and lost...This page reveals Morpheus' compassionate side. The moment represents the righting of wrongs and the summation of a quest.
