DescriptionMarvel Comics, 2000 - 11"x17" - Inks over original pencils.Synopsys: Pym Gets into a Bar Fight over a Nobel Prize assignation. Meanwhile, Iron Man leads an Avengers meeting with Black Widow, Giant-Man, Wasp, Scarlet Witch and Triathlon... My attention was stolen by Iron Man towering in the last panel. Indeed. But I was really confused as it sounded Perez, but was signed by Ryan. Mumble, mumble... then I find out that Perez detailed, as always, layouts were perfectly reprised by an excellent Ryan and a precise Vey inks. Art is signed by Paul Ryan. Social/Sharing |

First of all, marvelous page. You get all-out action in the top half, followed by a great still image of the Avengers around the table with Iron Man presiding. My eye immediately goes to the Scarlet Witch, who looks beautiful. Secondly, yeah, when I first saw the art, I immediately thought "Perez,' so I was also a bit confused by the Paul Ryan credit, though I do see his style in there too. A great team effort, with Al Vey's inks to bring it all together.

Hi Paul. You just added more points, I was missing, to the beauty of this, in the end, very simple page. But I think that this kind of pages made Marvel what we all know and love. Thanks!
