The crosshatching on this to make each surface distinct is Heath at his finest! A superb title page with the heavy dramatic content that made war comics compelling for its time.

Maybe not Sgt Rock, but I think some might...Russ Heath drawing are so solid a fulsomely drawn. All those textures, the tight crosshatching, and the shadow cast by the brightness of the explosion. Wonderful. Congrats!
