Description

Heath does some wonderful work with light and shadow in this explosive barndoor DPS from the story "Checkpoint - Death" published in GI Combat #142, July 1970. Really nice cross-hatching on the tanks, a Heath trademark. Joe Kubert appears to have had a hand in penciling the insert of Jeb in the large panel. Great, top shelf example of Heath's war art.
