DescriptionI'd enjoyed putting together the "last issue spectacular" covers that Mitch did for me so much that I couldn't help but think about building out that 80's Crusaders universe. This one was a hard one. I'll be honest. I definitely wanted horror for this cover, as opposed to superhero, but it took me forever to find someone that I thought would fit the bill. It was when I saw the Nova commission that Andy did for fellow CAFer Rob Shalda I realized I'd found my guy :) Andy did a great job on this one. A beautiful looking Ghoul, I just love O Vingador's pose with that line and time he took to use the actual Bannerman's castle as a model for this couldn't be more appreciated. As always, I hope Crusaders fans approve :) Original size 11x17 ------- In This Issue ... Homecoming! After the devastating attack from the arch-villains last issue the Crusaders are left homeless and distinctly aware of the dangers posed by having their headquarters right in the heart of Manhattan. So what else is the team to do but go house hunting! After looking at several site the team settles upon Bannerman's Castle, the old Hudson River arsenal warehouse. Unfortunately, the old rumors and legends of the Castle being haunted turn out to be all too true. As they begin to move in the daemon Thu-Gheemith, the Green Ghoul, is loosed upon the unsuspecting team! Not seen since the days of WWII when the Ghoul battled Mr. Justice himself, can the team stave off this attack from beyond? More importantly, what is the significance of the crates marked Burris Laboratories that are being moved into the Castle. Also, beginning this issue - the mystery of how Lancelot Strong and Darkling survived their seeming deaths! Oh, and one more thing - who is the unknown figure recruiting villains from the shadows?? This Issue's Cover ... The Comet, Mister Midnight, Darkling and O Vingador battle the Green Ghoul as it hovers over Bannerman's Castle. Social/Sharing |

O Vingador is awesome. What are his costume colors, still the blue and green?
