DescriptionThe Flash has met his match as he faces off against Urtumi the Image Eater!That's right ... Urtumi! The Image Eater. Cuz, you know ... he eats images apparently. This title splash really appeals to me because 1) I love weird looking monsters and 2) I really like all the multiple super-speed after-images of the Flash ... that Urtumi is eating .... or just destroying. Or maybe he destroys them first and eats them later when he has a moment of peace. Not sure what the deal is there. But anyway…A very fun title splash from the late '70s! P.S. This was not an OAX pick-up. I still need to make nice scans of those pieces. Social/Sharing |

Awesome! Don Heck definitely had a nice, unique style with his Flash issues.

Awesome dynamic scene!!! Excellent conposition and execution. I love how cinematic is. Flash and Heck are truly underated! Huge congrats on this very classic new addition Paul.

Urtumi the Image Eater should really be the CAF mascot, cause we're all Image eaters around here. Or do the images eat us slowly, one at a time, emptying our wallets, leaving us wanting more images...make it stop Urtumi!
Cool title splash Paul ! Interesting pre-emptive note about it not being an OAX pickup. I'm torn between catching up on posting older art or scanning the new stuff from OAX while it's still fresh in people's minds. Instead I just keep leaving comments and run out of time when I'm done ;-p

Ooh, never heard of super speed after images being destroyed leading to the OG getting in more and more peril! Makes me wanna read more, and isn't that one of the goals of title splashes?! This one definitely succeeds in that regard. Congrats!
