Description

Occasionally, a new piece of artwork arrives in my collection and it is so special that I can"t believe I have the good fortune and privilege to own it. Such is my feeling about the exceptional Al Williamson X-9 SECRET AGENT CORRIGAN strip that I just acquired. Strip 6-16-1978 from the brilliant Sci-Fi storyline by Archie Goodwin and the legendary Al Williamson represents one of my grail acquisitions.

This story ran from 2-6-1978 to 7-8-1978 and represents just how great Al Williamson's art was. I'm a lucky guy to have this example of his brilliant Sci-Fi art. As Sam Spade said, � "The stuff that dreams are made of."

I’ve always maintained the opinion that Al Williamson is the most under appreciated artists ever to work in the medium of comics.

YM - I totally agree, Williamson is one of the true masters of this medium and doesn't get the credit he deserves. I became a Williamson fan late in the game and now find examples of his prime work to be prohibitively expensive. Extremely happy to have acquired this masterpiece.
