Tony Daniel is absolutely one of the beacons of the Bat! Every drawing of him pulses with life! Cant wait to get my first Daniel piece!

The linework on the cape, bats and clouds really reminds me of Kaluta's sensibilities. I wonder if that's simply a coincidence or if Daniel may have been consciously inspired by him when he drew this piece. I came to the Daniel party late, in the past 7 years or so perhaps, and have really grown to like and appreciate his work. Very nice piece!

Hey Ruben, I looked up the artist you mentioned, Michael Kaluta, and I agree, this cover has a lot of the same artistic sensibilities as Kaluta's work. Whether there is a connection or not, I do really love the line work on this Batman cover. Thanks for the comment!

Exceptional cover! I too admire Tony Daniel's work especially his shading and cross-hatching displayed well on this cover.

Yeah, Tony Daniel has what it takes. Consistantly does a good Batman. This is truly a great example. Congrats.

Daniel is a top tier Batman artist for me as well, and this is a fabulous examnple of his work!
