Description***** Before you get into my description below, something very cool happened to me. I won a couple of awesome Tony Daniel pieces on ebay (which I will post soon), and during the checkout process, I discovered I was buying them from Tony himself! I mentioned to him that I had won his Batman #672 cover in a recent comiclink auction, and he told me that he considers this cover to be the BEST in his entire run. He was sad to part with it, but he's glad it went to a happy home, which it definitely has! He also gave me some insights into how he came about creating this cover as well as the DC cover process itself. WOW! Tony, thank you so much for taking the time to correspond with a big fan. You made my year !!! *****Just one of the most striking Batman covers by one of the best artists out there, Mr. Tony Daniel! When I first saw this cover up for auction, it really grabbed my attention. The way Tony has tilted the horizon puts everything on the diagonal and creates a really unique, dynamic energy to the piece. And Batman on a motorcycle is always super-cool. I just had to go for it. I love Tony Daniel's pencils, and I've been fortunate to pick up this and some of his other amazing pieces. Jonathan Glapion's inks are masterful as well - I especially love what he did with the front wheel of the motocycle. It sparkles! I really like how the original pencils and inks take up the the entire page - the piece is actually more effective without the Batman logo, as the logo covers up much of Batman's cape and background buildings. Great cover! I think the Batman and Detective covers are fantastic and an absolute steal right now. 20 years from now we will all be kicking ourselves for not buying more. Great artist doing some of his best work. (nice collection by the way!)

Yeah a great cover I personally prefer Richard Friend's inks over Tony's pencils but this one is a true grail!
