DescriptionWe move into the ‘90s with this Superman Theme Week post.Really love this huge splashy image of Superman. And dig the ponytail that Clark Kent is rockin’ in those upper panels! This was a fun issue (with a memorable cover) that features parallel brawls -- In one story, Superman battles a Doomsday-lookalike character named "Brawl," and in another story, Bibbo is involved in a knock-down drag-out bar brawl with some patrons who (very unwisely) bad-mouth his "fav'rit" (Superman). Then the two stories merge when, after defeating Brawl, Superman's super hearing picks up sounds of distress from Bibbo. When he flies in to help, he ends up on the business end of a Bibbo punch. For fun, I have included pics of Superman punching Brawl, and Bibbo punching Superman, as well as a pic of the issue's cover. I really did love the Superman stories from the '90s. Social/Sharing |

Ponytail Clark Kent was so 90s. And Bibbo! I got such a kick out of that storyline. And I love how that huge Supes image is so well balanced with the well drawn crowd running away. A very cool image. Congrats!

Yup, you sure did have some nice published Superman work, once upon a time, didn't you, Matt? This is a great looking Bogdanove piece, Paul!

Nice title DPS! Love how big Supes is here, taking up most of both boards and also flying right towards the reader! Must look great in person. And you got some storytelling up top! Really nice all around, Paul. Congrats!

This right here is what it's all about! It may seem odd to say this but you really gotta start sharing your art more (and this is coming from me)!
