Description

George Barr's first appearance on a professional magazine was the April 1962 cover of Fantastic Stories of Imagination. The cover story was "The Shrine of Temptation" by Judith Merrill. We don't own that cover, but we do own the prelim to it, which I'll show next to the published cover. On the back of the piece, Barr referred to it as "Shrine in the Hall of Fame."
