The Shadow pulp cover recreation by G. Rozelton i. e. Frank Hamilton Owner: ilia georgiev Comment posted on 8/17/2025 This looks like it's by Frank Hamilton because it is by Frank Hamilton. When Frank did his fantastic black and white recreations of Doc and Shadow covers, while he often used his own name, he also on many occasions would combine parts of the original artists name with his own. Thus Baumhofer + Hamilton became Baumhilton, Gladney + Hamilton became Gladnilton and Rozen + Hamilton became Rozelton. Nice piece! |

That's great. Looks like the borders were cut off to save it. For something this old, I'm sure that restoring the non art borders wouldn't have been worth it. ![]() It's on canvas, and is now once again on stretcher bars. The excess canvas is wrapped around the bars, as it would have been originally before it was removed from them and glued to the board. |

Fed Ex suck. All they ever did for me was ruin two pieces of artwork by heavily damaging them and most recently sending me threatening letters about debt collectors after losing the payment I sent to them by registered mail. They have a truly awful reputation this side of the pond. I tell anybody I know not to use them. Other collectors I know have suffered similar horror stories with this imcompetent bunch. Nice artwork by the way! ![]() Sorry to hear about your bad experiences with them! They've been fine for me over here so far. Fingers crossed! |
