Adam was one of several lower class men's/girlie magazines that coexisted with Playboy in the 1950's and 1960's. Each had lower production values, generally cut corners* and had art more in common with the pulps than with Playboy. This is the opening illustration for what was supposedly a memoir of a reporter who must miss the business.

That's quite a fantasy, a guy interviews a hot starlet, who leaves her blouse open and stretches her legs out wide to play with his hat. What category should I put this in? Double page spread seems very appropriate somehow.

The seller attributes this to "Schroeder" of whom I've found nothing. I did buy the issue. This is the story (labeled humor) of a cub reporter who inexplicably gets plum assignments like interviewing a senator and a movie star. There's no mention of her either exposing her bosom or doing the air splits. This is a huge, 20" by 15".

*I once spent some time at a convention where 1950's Playmate Diana Hunter had an adjacent booth. When I found out her name, I said I recognized her as the cover girl and nude pictorial for the May 1963 issue of Modern Man, another Adam-like publication that my brother had acquired from a friend in our misspent youth. She had no idea. The magazine just bought some pictures from some session she had done earlier and passed it off as their own material.
