Description

I was very impressed when I first saw Art's style, and thought about a character I wanted him to work on. I really liked what he was doing with headsketches and had been wanting someone to do Hawkgirl from the justice league cartoon. I initially wanted Shiera sans Helmet but at the last second I waffled back toward helmet and Art really did a fantastic job!

Art's use of blacks is really impressive so the helmet is very striking. I also love the way he represented the wings and hair! Art told me he was a little worried as he tends to have a realistic style but I feel like he merged his style and the DCAU style together perfectly. I'm really pleased with it and would love to have Art do another piece for me whenever I get the chance.

I see you got your own Hawk from Art. He did a great job (as usual) on it, looks great!
