He said he would send it in early February - almost two months later and it hasn't arrived. Shameful. I'm out of the commission business. To all interested parties - the sketch did arrive. No note and stinking of cigarettes smoke but it's here... and admittedly very nice. A few weeks airing out should alleviate the stench. Undecided if I will frame it with the rest of my art... I'm not sure if I'd like to be reminded of this experience every time I look at it.
