Kubert is a master and this page is a master class in how to draw. Exquisite page! Congrats Ron, thanks for sharing!

I am not complaining about the art ( who does not like Kubert? )but where do you put it all? Your 'vault' must be as big as Fort Knox by this stage. Lol.

While he could have stuck a stat headshot for the intro at the top, Joe Kubert being an old pro, upholds the lofty ideals and tradition of this title by fully drawing an iconic shot. The action piece is uniquely Kubert and shows the depth and foreshortening of the figure. Sgt Rock is twisting to hit the deck and it is emphasized by the bandolier twisting.

Terrific page from this classic series! The expressions on Sgt. R's weathered face at the top and bottom are priceless
