Description

Pencil study portraying the most important French leader after Napoleon and one of the most relevant political figures of the last century.
It was made in order to realize a quite similar painting, used as the cover for a biography of de Gaulle published in Italy by Mondadori in 1995.

What an amazing illustrator Ferenc Pintér was!
