DescriptionJust picked up this preliminary drawing for an interior illustration for "Martin Bear and Friends" by Thomas Hauser, published in 1997. This drawing was also featured on page 38 of her second art book “The Art of Rowena”, published by Pavilion Books in 2000. I love that you can see some evolution to the piece as she worked through her process, how she changed the skunk in the prelim into a fairy in the final painted version.Pencil on paper 12" x 18" Social/Sharing |
