DescriptionCassady is one of the stand outs from the 90's. He had a refreshingly different art style that really appealed. Here is what HA had to sayJohn Cassaday X-Men / Alpha Flight #2 Story Page 11 Original Art (Marvel, 1998). Baron Von Strucker gloats over the captured Storm, Wolverine, Colossus, Nightcrawler, Cyclops, and Kitty Pryde. Six down and two more to go. Ink over graphite on Marvel Bristol board with an image area of 10.5" x 15.75". Marginal notes, whiteout touch-ups, with light smudging/handling wear. Signed by Cassaday at the top right and in Excellent condition. I had no idea when I posted this that we would lose John just a week plus later. What a tragedy at only 52 years old. Social/Sharing |

Design, linework, scene setting, use of shadow...yeah this one's got it all as a Cassaday example. Congrats, Kirk!
