Oh cool, you got this one. Was actually tracking it to see where it would end. Talked to a few people who also went after it. Glad you were able to outlast all of them. I know it HAD to go to either a big Nowlan fan or a Doctor Strange/Defenders fan. Must be truly impressive in person. Congrats buddy!

I was surprised at first how different it looks from the actual poster but read the description about the (sad) colors fading.
That being said, it remains one of the most spectacular Nowlan piece out there (with his "Conjuring Clea" print), certainly one of the best posters of that era (and they were all great).

One of the most beautiful pieces of comic art I've seen surface in quite a while--very happy to hear that it's gone to an appreciative and loving home. Nowlan has such a singular style--and one that I associate with the more adult sensibilities of the 1980s, his characters often look so cool and detached. As a kid his artwork scared me a little--it always felt mature!
This Nowlan has found it's way home. I had you as the Starlin buyer but can't say I am surprised with this purchase as it fits your collection perfectly. Congrats Kirk, thanks for sharing!
