DescriptionI don't get to see Arthur very often at shows. He lives on the west coast and myself on the east. We have only met a handful of times, mostly at Big Wow which is the only west coast con I have ever attended. I however had seen this year that Art was scheduled to attend a rare East Coast Con followed by the Big Wow show the following weekend. I know his sketch lists fill up fast, with good reason and I wasn't sure if I could get on his list at the East Coast Con even with a VIP badge that got me in slightly earlier then the main convention time. As I suspected by the time I got to Art's line it was quite long already and he already had a full list by the time I got up to him. But I had an idea if he was willing or able to. If I could arrange a sketch on a blank cover at this show I could pick it up at the Big Wow appearance. To my delight he agreed and this is the result to my unending joy!!!I want to thank Arthur for this Amazing rendition of the Lord of the Sith! Drawn on a blank Darth Vader #1 cover. This is the first blank cover I have ever asked an artist to illustrate for me. I think I see another collection on the horizon! Social/Sharing |

That's a great way to start off a sketch cover collection!

Love that detail, man he is good!I completely agree! It's funny that Art was almost apologetic that Vader didn't turn out as well as he had hoped, saying he needed to do a few more Vader's to get the mask down right. I looked at him like he was crazy, needless to say I was blown away at how good this came out!
