It yould be great to meet a CAF veteran like you. That counts by the way for everybody who is seeing this on CAF and would like to come to Cologne see the exhibition. Just ask me for details, price of admission if you are not a small child or without Spidey costume is just 5,-EUR. [Yes indeed, if you wear one, admission is free... So finally you have use of your full body spidey spandex costume hanging in your closet for so many years. Am I right? ;-)]

Thanks, for me this one had it all. Pose, proportions, face, composition and size made me fall so deeply in love with this one. I can not see it every day as it is locked away, but when I take a visit my heart skips a beat every single time.

There are JSC Black Cats, and then there are really nice JSC Black Cats, and then there's the tier with the super special ones. That's where this one lives. Bravo- glorious piece, and a true gem.

Thanks a lot Casey, the downside to this piece is that it scratched a itch so well that I never felt the urge to get more JSC after this, it was my third and last JSC, since 2012. And that feels strange to write, as there is never enough JSC you can lay your eyes on. :-)

Thanks, Raj. And yes, I will. Although it will take a gooood while until that happens. It will be displayed in a museum here in Germany (NRW Forum, Düsseldorf) for about 9 months.

Yeah, I can relate. When this became available to me I knew it was a once in a lifetime opportunity and have let go some true gems from my collection to make this happen. For instance a 1985 original Nintendo NES advertising display with lights and moving parts. Also all of my signed Michael Turner prints with low numbers (like 2/75). Plus other stuff and funds to make it happen, for me it was still worth it. It is right now lent to a museum here in Germany and will be in the next by the end of this year, as another museum has inquired about it.
