Description

A tall piece at 17" by 10.75", the colored pencils and ink are done on the back of a heavy piece of cardboard poster. The reverse side is glossy and the artwork was drawn on the untreated side. I really like the photo-realism aspect of Almeda's work and you can always spot his version of Vampirella because of the "combat-type" boots that he always puts her in. Given all of the background extras (5 wolves) I couldn't pass this piece up. Dated in 2009, I've been told that Mhel Almeda is sadly no longer with us, having passed away sometime in 2013.
