Description

The muties are still not at home at The Massachusetts Academy, and they want to get out before the White Queen changes that. Magik and Moonstar's rescue plan fails, but the Hellions agree to a one on one battle for their freedom. Although Cannonball wins, the Hellfire Club isn't going to let such a prize go easily. Thank god they just had a teleporter join!

The cover to issue 17 was originally done by Brigman with Sienk inks. It's always a pleasure to deal with June, and she did a great update to a fun early battle.

A nice job by both. Roy's inks here actually resemble McLeod's inks on the series.

Cool tribute to the original NM17 cover! The circular motion and posing makes for a really balanced image.
