DescriptionDon't worry. On the very next page, Spider-Girl and American Dream break free of the Hobgoblin's clutches and start opening up a can of whup-ass of their own.Cuz that's what they DO!! Love this splash page by the incredible team of Frenz and Buscema. Thanks for looking! Social/Sharing |

Proportionally speaking, Hobby is way too massive in comparison to both young ladies, but it makes him look more badass. On the other hand, if both young ladies open up a can of whoop ass on the very next page, I guess he isn't really much of a badass after all. Great looking piece, though!

Perhaps they are shrinking violets and swoon before admittedly oversized villains. Its called artistic license, dammit. Lol

His pick up lines are apparently great. I mean, they must be, he's picked up two ladies with little effort.

You know, you're absolutely right. I'd forgotten that the Hobgoblin had been taking the Finch Moon Knight cocktail of HGH and steroids for many years by this point and put on a lot of mass, not to mention grew 12 inches in height!

This is a pretty defining image and will probably stick in the minds of many. Even if they come back and defeat Hobgoblin, the damage is done as Spider-Girl and American Dream got posterized bad! It's the reason people got out of the way when Michael Jordan dunked for fear of being immortalized this way.

Man I really love the combo of Frenz and Buscema on Spider-Girl, highly underrated! This is a fantastic splash. Congrats Paul!

For me it's all about the Frenz Hobby! That's the one I see when I think about the character. Great overall cover, though, man, congrats!
