Description("Storybook Endings")This is the Original Artwork for the Cover of BATMAN (Vol. 1) #713 (Oct. 2011) - the **Historic** LAST ISSUE of BATMAN! The legendary BATMAN series was published for 71 years(!!!) from Spring 1940 to October 2011. The series was restarted with BATMAN (Vol. 2) #1 in November 2011 as part of DC's "New 52" reboot. This fantastically detailed Cover was drawn "full bleed" by Tony S. Daniel. NOTE: The "additional images" features a very cool Dutch Variant. Batman - created by Bob Kane with Bill Finger. This cover is absolutely fantastic. Tony Daniel was already a very good artist but he has grown into such a talent ! Congrats !

Fred, you have great taste in art. Tony Daniel knew this would be the last issue from volume 1 and went all out depicting the entire bat team. I love how everyone is flowing and now just standing around in a typical pin up pose. Fantastic addition to your collection. Cheers! N.
