BEWARE: It's Assistant Editors' Month! :-)

This is the Original Cover Artwork for CONAN THE BARBARIAN #154 (Jan. 1984); penciled and inked by Gary Kwapisz. This issue was published during the infamous "Assistant Editors' Month" (Jan. 1984) - in this case the Assistant Editor was James Owsley. To celebrate the event, this Cover has DC Comics' 1960's "Go-Go Checks" across the masthead! NOTE: The additional images features a very cool Dutch Variant.

What more could one want from a Conan cover? Its got he 3 B's...Beast, babe, and barbarian. And DC checkers to top it off.

By CROM what a great cover - it does what it should - makes me want to open the book and see what's inside. Now I'm going to have to dig up the comic and see how it ends!
