Nine months after her dynamic debut in WHAT IF...? #105 (Feb. 1998), May "Mayday" Parker returned in her own ongoing series!

This is the Original Art for the **CLASSIC** Cover of SPIDER-GIRL #1 (Oct. 1998) by Pat Olliffe and Al Williamson. This Cover image was also used as the Corner Box Art for SPIDER-GIRL #'s 2 - 16, 18 - 24 and 26 - 30!

Scanned at 600 dpi / color.

NOTE: The additional images features several very cool Foreign Variants and one trade paperback.

The fan-favorite SPIDER-GIRL series ran for 8 years - 101 monthly issues (#0 - 100), plus one Annual from Oct. 1998 to Sept. 2006 and is the longest-running Marvel series featuring a female super-hero! :-)

C'mon, who doesn't love May ''Mayday'' Parker? I love this series about the daughter of Spider-Man and Mary Jane. There's something so right about imagining what it would be like for Peter to have a daughter following in his footsteps...or his weblines? Congrats on picking up the cover to #1. It's a keeper.
